About Anvil & Garden
Anvil & Garden grew out of a simple frustration: we wanted lighting for our own house that didn't feel disposable, didn't cost like a luxury indulgence, and didn't make our home feel staged or sterile. The goal, for ourselves and for anyone who shops with us, is straightforward: a happier, warmer house, where every room feels comfortable for everyone living in it. Including the pets.
There's no big team here, no algorithm picking what we sell. Every fixture in the catalog goes through us first. If it doesn't earn its place, it doesn't make it in. Proportions, finish, and light quality all have to be right.
Our philosophy
A house should feel warmer when you walk in. Not just temperature. Comfort. You can feel the difference between a room with good lighting and one with bad lighting. We pick fixtures that put rooms in the first category. Sometimes that means a sculptural pendant that anchors the space. More often it means a well-engineered wall light you barely notice because it's doing its job. Either way, every piece has to make a real room feel better, not just look interesting in a product photo.
How we work
We're online-only. Anvilandgarden.com is the whole storefront. We ship anywhere in the US, with free shipping on orders over $75.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. Items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In the original packaging with all components and hardware
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Damaged on Arrival
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@anvilandgarden.com with photos of the damaged item and the packaging. Simply return the item and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

A note on the name
Anvil and garden. Opposites that we like together. The anvil is the workshop, the craft, the slow careful making of something. The garden is the living result, the place it all goes, the home you're building. Lighting fixtures are the bridge between those two worlds: hand-built objects that end up in living rooms.
